Event Data
When you create or participate in events, we store:
- Event titles and descriptions

- Messages sent during events
- Event participation timestamps
Guest Access
For guest users, we collect:
- Browser fingerprint for session management
- Temporary session identifiers
- No personal information is required for guest access
Technical Information
Our infrastructure provider Cloudflare may collect:
- IP addresses (for security and performance)
- Basic browser information
- Request logs for debugging

- Provide and operate the WordsUnite service
- Authenticate your account and maintain security
- Process payments for event credits

4. Data Retention and Deletion
Active Data
- Event content is retained as long as you keep it
- You can delete events, chants, and messages at any time
- Deleted content is immediately removed from our systems
Account Deletion
- You can delete your account at any time
- Upon deletion, we immediately remove all your events and content
- We retain minimal invoice metadata for legal compliance only
- No personal data is retained after account deletion except as legally required
5. Data Security
We implement strong security measures including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission
- Secure authentication through Auth0
- Regular security updates and monitoring
- Limited access to user data (founder only)
- No storage of payment card information
6. Your Rights and Controls
You have the right to:
- Access: View all data associated with your account
- Correct: Update your profile information
- Delete: Remove any content or your entire account
- Export: Request a copy of your data (contact support@wordsunite.us)
- Object: Opt-out of any non-essential communications
7. Children's Privacy
WordsUnite is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
